Working with Taco Truck Creative, Fellow director Marcelo Petrella brought the launch of L.A.B. Golf's new VZN putter to life as a collage-driven brand film—moving fluidly between digital cinema, 16mm film, and still photography across design studios, workshops, and the green. A product launch with the attitude of a brand film, built around one quietly radical idea: only one putter is Lie Angle Balanced and easy to align. Making it easier to find a putter that makes putting easier.

Design wasn't an afterthought—it was the foundation. From the earliest concept, Fellow developed a layered visual language, blending formats, lenses with distinct characteristics, and carefully lit night sequences with in-camera projections visualizing the scan of a putting stroke—data made tangible on set. The visual storytelling was designed into every frame before a single camera rolled.

Marcelo Petrella crafted a collage that follows the VZN's full journey—from early sketches and alignment studies to hands-on craftsmanship, precision engineering, and real-world play—cutting seamlessly across formats and environments. The edit mirrors the product's iterative development, using match cuts and in-camera transitions to propel the story without ever illustrating the script literally. A minimal, percussive score builds beneath authentic workshop and course sound, creating something precise, unexpected, and unmistakably VZN.

L.A.B. Golf set out to build something that stood apart from everything else in the category. Fellow set out to film it the same way. The VZN is the result of both.
