Callaway
Marcelo Petrella
TV Commercial

The fairway wood is the hardest club in the bag to commit to. Callaway's Paradym changes that calculation — and Fellow was brought back by Taco Truck Creative to make that case on screen. A spot built around tension: the tight par 4, the long par 5 second shot, the moment before the swing when doubt either wins or doesn't. Paradym is the only choice. The spot earns that claim with dynamic camera work, precise CG, and a visual language that literally shifts the world in the golfer's favor.

Director Marcelo Petrella built the spot around two golfers facing two very different high-pressure situations — each one a scenario every golfer knows in their gut. A dolly zoom sets the tension before a club is even swung. Drone shots open up the course from above, revealing just how demanding each lie really is. A probe lens gets as close to the grass and the club as physics will allow. Steadicam arches around each pro as they commit to the shot — fluid, purposeful, and built to hold the viewer in that moment of decision as long as possible.

The spot's defining visual idea is the shift — the landscape literally moving in the golfer's favor as the Paradym fairway wood takes over. Fellow built the CG sequences that bring Callaway's technology to life, rendered with the same precision and weight as the live action around them. The transition between live action and CG is seamless by design — the technology doesn't interrupt the story, it becomes part of it. A concept that was challenging to execute and deeply satisfying to land.

Safe choice. Aggressive choice. Only choice. Fellow and Taco Truck Creative built a spot that makes the decision feel as inevitable as the distance the club delivers.
